Florence's main railway station Santa Maria Novella is only 2km away. All of the Intercity and Eurostar trains stop here making the Hotel Meridiana the ideal hotel for those travellers arriving in Florence by rail. |

The Hotel Meridiana is happy to arrange private parking in a nearby garage located behind the Hotel. Please let us know if you will be arriving by car so we may arrange parking. A small supplement is applicable for this service. |

The Air Terminal for Florence Vespucci Airport is located near the railway station of Santa Maria Novella. If arriving at Pisa International Airport, the main airport in Tuscany, then we suggest you take the frequent train from Pisa to Florence as a taxi from Pisa will be very expensive - approximately 90 Euro. |

To view the original David (there are 7 lifesize replicas located in the center of Florence) Turn right upon exiting Hotel. Walk down Viale Don Minzoni and head for Piazza san Marco - the Galleria dell'Accademia is located near this square. |

Turn right and walk down Viale Don Minzoni. Go straight through Piazza della Liberta and proceed on to the Fortezza da Basso which is where all the Pitti Fairs are held plus many others. |

Turn right upon exiting hotel and proceed to Piazza San Marco. Go straight ahead and follow Via Cavour until you get to the Duomo. NB it is very difficult to miss the Duomo as it is located in the historical city center of Florence and by Florentine law no building is allowed to be higher than it. |
